Changing your mind about an online order
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you can usually cancel an online purchase of a physical game set within 14 days after the day you receive it, without giving a reason. To exercise that right, tell us clearly by email at egyptian_chess@outlook.com within the cancellation period and include your name and order number. You do not need to wait for us to approve the request before notifying us.
After telling us you are cancelling, send the item back within 14 days. Please request return instructions before posting it. Unless the item is faulty or we have agreed otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning an unwanted item. Please package it securely and use a service that provides proof of postage.
You may handle the game as reasonably necessary to inspect its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you could in a shop. You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection.
Refunds for a change-of-mind cancellation
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund the product price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option we offered for the original order. We do not have to refund the extra cost of a more expensive delivery option you chose. We will make the refund without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline—normally no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your set is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, email us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and a description of the problem. Photographs of the item and packaging can help us assess transit damage. We will explain the available remedy and arrange appropriate return or collection instructions. You will not be charged return costs for a return that is our responsibility.
Under UK consumer law, faulty goods may qualify for a short-term right to reject for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, as well as other rights that can apply later. Your statutory rights depend on the circumstances and are not limited by this policy.

Email egyptian_chess@outlook.com with the subject “Return or refund request”. Include your order reference and say whether you are cancelling because you changed your mind or reporting a fault. Do not send a parcel to an address until you have received return instructions.
